More videos

Our family's been inside way too much this week with a stomach bug and colds, but this afternoon we were all feeling well enough to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Jas surprised us all by learning to ride his trike (kind of), and he had soo much fun playing basketball with his little cheerleaders rooting him on. Below is a silly video of the kids dancing--I think Levi's got some great moves!

I could get used to this!

We had a fabulous time in KC celebrating my sister's 40th! I went one day early to spend time with my little sis and family friend Robin Rose. We had a great dinner at the Olive Garden, then I finally got to go to a Jazz Restaurant/Bar--have wanted to for years. I felt like I was in the movies--dim lighting, great music and fun company! We even got to witness a proposal! Stayed up late watching a movie, got to spend time with one of my favorite people, Lindsey, over breakfast on Saturday am, met up with my bro and his family, along with my sis Staci over lunch, then--oh, the luxury--enjoyed my first pedicure. What bliss!

Here's a lovely foot shot of us all--I think we've got pretty cute feet! Of course, we had to have my little brother join us for the next one...

We couldn't get enough of our new baby nephew--he's getting sweeter by the day! Shari, thanks for being born--I can't imagine life without you--you are a huge part of what makes our family so much fun. Here's to 40 more healthy, happy years! (We've got a 40th among us siblings every 2 yrs for the next 12, so we've decided to make this a tradition.) After that, our kids will be older and we'll take cruises together or something a little more extravagant!) Sure love you girls! And Mark--you're the best!

Sarah's surprise

Tonight Jas started wanting the kids to play the "gimme five" game--I had no idea that he knew what to say--it was too cute not to tape. I love how he tries to say, "cut the pickle!"

Another piece of excitement to share--Sarah's finally learning something that we've been working on for years! Watch and enjoy our little princess...

I'm heading out of town tomorrow for the WHOLE weekend! Without the kids or my husband! I have no idea what to do with myself, but I'm so excited. My oldest sister is turning 40 next week, and she requested some grown up girl time--5 sisters, one brother--he's used to all the hormones--one sister in law, one mama, one 15 yr old niece, and an adorable little nephew sounds like a great time! Weekend fun includes pedicures (which I've never had and am sooo excited about), fondue at my brother and Em's house, and I'm sure lots of laughter--we're all going to crash at my brother's house, and I'm sure we'll be fighting over who gets to hold little James. I'm actually heading out of town a day early just for fun--so excited to spend some time with my little sister JoJo without a crowd. Pray that I decide to come home!!! Kidding--I'll miss the family like crazy!

Bugs, Boys, Birthday Fun!!

Levi celebrated his 7th birthday today with his buddies--what a blast! Robbie and I enjoyed watching them interact, so grateful for the fantastic friends in his life. They went to the KSU insect zoo first, where Levi braved touching the tarantula several times. Don't know where he got it--this mama could barely look at the plastic ones!

We then headed over to our very own Call Hall Dairy Bar for cake and ice cream. People were so friendly--smiling and enjoying being overtaken by 8 rambunctious 6-8 year olds.

The boys seem to have discovered the art of holding up bunny ears during picture taking. Brings back memories of China...

Levi got some great gifts from his friends--he's obsessed with Legos lately, and now has 2 more sets to put together. Fun day!
