After a 5 week visit to Kansas, they're on the plane now, flying back to Japan. We've already switched kids' bedrooms around and reorganized. After they left, we were surprised to smell some of our blankets that they used and realize that they smelled like them (a good smell). When I told Mai on the phone, she said, "Oh--that's Downy!" So funny--and I thought it was some special, Japanese smell!

Missing these cuties

We are missing them too! We had left over salad with sesame dressing for lunch, along with rice balls dad had made with Yoko.
